Girls' School of Golf - 2010 Brambleton Learning Center "Where Girls Come First" Girls Ages 9-16 The Girls’ Golf School Program is designed for girls 9-16 years of age who want to learn the game of golf or improve their current golf skills. It focuses on learning golf as a recreational sport while allowing for progression to a competitive level in the future. The Girls’ Golf School program will be held from 5-8pm, Monday through Friday, and includes 15 hours of instruction by golf teaching professionals. The ratio of golfer to teaching professional will be 4:1. Cost: $350 per student Session 1 – July 5-9 Session 2 - July 12-16
This program curriculum will include the following: • Fundamentals of golf, including grip, stance, posture, ball position and alignment. • Short game fundamentals of putting and chipping, • Basics of the full swing, including working on the full swing with the driver. • The program will also cover on-course orientation with discussion of course management and etiquette. • Identification of the various types of golf clubs and the ability to decide which type of golf club to use in a given situation.
